Count on Chandler
Everett K. Chandler was raised in the Wagener-Salley community of Aiken County. He earned a BA degree from Wofford College in Accounting and Religion. He also earned a Juris Doctorate (Doctorate of Law) from North Carolina Central University- School of Law. In 1998, he accepted an opportunity to come back to the Aiken community to work in the Second Judicial Circuit Solicitor's Office. He served six and a half years as an Assistant Solicitor prosecuting in Aiken, Bamberg, and Barnwell counties. He also served as an adjunct professor at the University of South Carolina Aiken, teaching "Communication’s Law and Ethics."
Currently, he is a sole practitioner at the Chandler Law Firm, PA in Aiken, South Carolina concentrating in Criminal Defense, Personal Injury, Workers’ Compensation, and Wrongful Death. He further exhibits his commitment to the community through his membership of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc. and his service on the USC-Aiken Partnership Board. His professional memberships include the following: South Carolina Injured Workers’ Advocates, South Carolina Black Lawyers Association, the Aiken County Bar Association, South Carolina Association for Justice and South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
